Industries We Serve: Panic Button Systems by Facility

One platform, every facility

Innovation Wireless builds fixed panic button systems for the places people work, learn, heal and stay. One press at a desk or counter sends a silent alert to your response team in seconds and can trigger a facility-wide response through the PA speakers, bells and LED message boards your building already owns. Every system is owned hardware with published starting prices and no monthly fees.

This hub routes you to the guide written for your facility. Each industry page covers the same ground in its own vocabulary: the law that applies, the desks and counters where incidents cluster, the alert configuration that fits, and real starting prices. If two pages sound like your building, read both; the hardware underneath is one platform.

Education

Schools and campuses.

Schools were the first Alyssa’s Law market and remain the deepest. Fixed switches in classrooms and front offices trigger a campus-wide lockdown in seconds: pre-recorded audio over PA, LOCKDOWN instructions on every LED board, bells signaling the alert. A growing list of states now requires silent panic-alert capability in public schools, and fixed hardware satisfies it without per-teacher subscriptions.

Hospitality

Hotels.

Housekeepers working alone in guest rooms drove a wave of state and city panic-button laws, from New Jersey to Washington to Miami Beach. Fixed buttons cover the front desk and back of house; the compliance picture changes by jurisdiction, and our hotel pages track it statute by statute.

Healthcare

Hospitals and care settings.

Healthcare leads every industry in workplace violence, and the posts that absorb it are fixed: ED reception, triage, pharmacy, intake. The Joint Commission has required workplace-violence prevention programs since 2022, and California’s SB 553 extends prevention-plan duties to nearly every employer in the state. Fixed duress buttons cover the stationary flashpoints; badge systems cover roaming staff; most hospitals run both.

Commercial

Business, offices and retail.

Reception desks, HR offices, registers and public counters share the same geometry: a predictable seat, a member of the public, and seconds that matter. California’s SB 553 made a working alert element part of every covered employer’s prevention plan, and New York’s Retail Worker Safety Act now requires panic buttons for covered retail staff.

Coming Soon

More verticals in the library.

Three industry guides are finishing review now and join this hub over the coming weeks: panic buttons for places of worship, covering volunteer-staffed entrances and security-grant funding; panic buttons for senior living and nursing care, built around the Joint Commission standards that reach assisted living from July 2025; and panic buttons for government buildings, covering public counters, clerk windows and courthouse security. Each gets the same treatment: the law, the flashpoints, the honest hardware picture.

Every Industry

The constants across every facility we serve.

  • Silent at the source. No beep or flash at the desk; the alert reaches your team without escalating the situation.
  • Owned, not rented. Published starting prices, a 1-year warranty, and zero subscription or monitoring fees.
  • Your infrastructure, amplified. PA, bells and LED boards you already own become the response, no rip-and-replace.
  • Documented. Every press and drill is logged, the record your prevention plan and your insurer both want.

FAQ

Choosing your industry page

Our facility spans more than one industry. Where do we start?
Start with the flashpoint, not the sector label. A hospital gift shop behaves like retail, a university front office behaves like an office. The walkthrough maps each post to the right guide, and one system covers them all.
Do you serve universities and industrial sites?
Yes. Universities, manufacturing plants, warehouses and government counters all run the same fixed-post model: a button at each predictable flashpoint, alerts over the infrastructure already in the building. The industry guides cover the most regulated sectors first, but the platform is facility-agnostic.
Is the hardware the same across industries?
The switches, receiver and alert chain are the same owned hardware everywhere. What changes by industry is placement, response configuration and the compliance framework the deployment documents against.
