What is a wireless countdown timer?

A wireless countdown timer is a synchronized LED display that counts down or up for tests, class rotations, games and production timing, and when it is not counting, it works as an accurate digital clock, receiving GPS-locked time from the same transmitter as every other clock on campus.

One display, two jobs. Innovation Wireless LED countdown timers run your timed events, then go back to being perfectly synchronized clocks. No manual setting, no drift, no separate wall clock needed.

How It Works

Countdown timers for timed events. Untimed accuracy.

Start a countdown for a testing period, a class rotation or a shift interval. The moment it ends, the display returns to the campus time base automatically via the licensed 467 MHz UHF signal, the same KRONOsync® broadcast that drives our synchronized clock systems.

FAQ

Countdown timer questions

Does the timer also work as a clock?
Yes. When it is not counting, the LED countdown timer functions as a synchronized digital clock, receiving GPS-locked time from the transmitter, one display, two jobs.
What can it count?
Countdown and count-up modes cover testing periods, class rotations, presentations, games, shift takt times and breaks.
How does it stay synchronized?
It receives the same licensed 467 MHz UHF signal as our clocks, so idle timers always show the correct campus time.
Where are these used?
Classrooms and testing rooms, gyms and pools, manufacturing floors, broadcast and presentation spaces.
