Do your systems really have no subscription fees?
Correct, you buy the equipment outright and own it. There are no per-user, per-badge or per-month fees of any kind. It is the biggest long-term cost difference between us and wearable-badge vendors. For the full five- and ten-year math, see subscription vs. owned panic button costs.
Fixed panic buttons or wearable badges, which do we need?
Fixed buttons for building-wide lockdown response; badges for staff who work off-site or across outdoor areas. Many organizations run both, including hospitals and health systems; our panic buttons for hospitals and healthcare facilities guide covers their duress setup. See our school panic button guide for the full comparison.
Does it work with the bells, clocks and PA we already own?
In most cases, yes, retrofit is our specialty. Our tone generators and platform drive existing bells, and clocks/speakers are integrated where serviceable. The lockdown system page explains the retrofit path.
What is Alyssa’s Law and does it apply to us?
Thirteen states have now passed Alyssa’s Law, most require silent panic alarms in schools; a few authorize or require consideration instead. Rules differ by state, see the state-by-state compliance guide for your state’s requirements. We also unpack what counts as a silent panic alarm in plain hardware terms.
What area does one system cover?
One KRONOsync transmitter covers roughly 300,000 square feet; repeaters and outdoor antennas extend that to multi-building campuses. Details on the clock systems page.
Can we see the products in action?
Yes, watch real system overviews on our videos page, or book a free 20-minute live video demo with a specialist.
Is there a warranty or demo?
Every system includes a 1-year warranty, and you can watch the platform run live before you buy: book a 20-minute video demo and we’ll trigger a real panic switch for your team.
How much does a system cost?
Classroom kits start at $4,900 and campus retrofits at $18,500, published on our kits & pricing page. Exact pricing follows a free walkthrough.
How long does installation take?
Most single-building systems install in days, not weeks, wireless endpoints mean no new cabling in most rooms.
Who installs and supports the system?
We do, from the coverage plan through installation guidance and ongoing US-based support from our Culver City, CA team.
