Pressing it takes one motion and no visible movement, so the person causing the problem never knows help was called. No. Fixed switches are PoE, powered and connected over ethernet, and wireless endpoints run on our licensed 467 MHz UHF campus signal. The alert chain does not ride your guest Wi-Fi or depend on an internet connection to fire.
